Soul Eraser.. What can I say about you... Soul Eraser is the most (*&^%$# addicting game out there. The plot is some nimrod is leaving Reploids empty shells, deleting their DNASouls. AKA: THEIR FRIGGIN' SOULS. Therefor, you go through the game as X OR Zero, and fight 4 guardians a pop, depending on the mission you pick. Your spotter is the rookie Hunter.... Iris... Or Aillis. The Manual is as useful as a
friggin' art guide, and even then, only for artists. That's about it. The graphics on GBC are darn near 16 bit, not bad for an 8-Bit syatem. Then again, they go 32-bit on GBA. Hrml. It's also fun for anyone into a non-depressing game like X5. Yay! Buy parts. And the DNA Mavericks drop? It tastes good in soup, recharges ya, AND serves as 'money'. (Iris turns them into parts.) Most importaintly they taste good. Well, WE can't eat them, but pretend your food is a DNA soul... THEN you'll get it....No? Hmm.
Anyhow, the psychos erasing souls are reveiled in the beginning, and bear the names Gareth and Berkana. Berkana irks me. Greatly. But, it's an actual FEMALE character other then Iris... ^^; Or Alia. What's depressing is Gareth, a knight-like Reploid. ...He's designed to look like a knight. I could cry... Despite LOOKING like he has honor, he's really just serving Berkana.... That just irks me. The villians are 8 or 32 bit re-hashes of the X2 and X3 foes, except Gareth and Berkana and this sphinx Reploid, the music is good but CAN drive anyone who hates Game Boy music mad, and
the difficulty's jacked higher then heck, but's all in all it's darn fun, AND Sigma's dog returns. And who doesn't like that mutt? Especially since he's the first level boss in Berkana and Gareth's fort. :D
