All Gundams, throughout the entire history of Gundam, are distinguished by their head-mounted V-Fin. We refer to this V-Fin as a Crown. These Crowns are used most often as antennae for comm systems and radars, but they also can be used as weapons or even keys.
All Gundams come with a Crown, but most of the time is is a Dual-point Crown (with the exception of Tallgeese, his Crest is another story). This two point crown is funcionally inferior to the Quad-point crown. Some pilots may desire to upgrade. Normal MS do not come with any crown.
