Rules
Rules: Make sure you read all the rules before you join. Here are the rules. You can DIE, anyone who doesn't participate for 2-3 weeks will be able to DIE at the hands of any other member that issues a challenge or if your health bar is at low percent. Next you can have the same mobile suit(gundam) as someone else. What I mean is if someone has chosen heavyarms you can still choose it. All you have to do is give it a different name and pilot. Names cannot be copied!! For example their can be only one mobile suit named heavyarms but that type of suit can still be chosen. Pilots are whoever you want, they can be from the gundam series or made up. To join choose a pic for your gundam, the name will be by the pic don't just say heavyarms because there are different pics of it or you could E-mail me a pic that you have for your suit. Then choose 1 primary weapon, 2 seconadary weapons and 1 accessory and that's it.
Battles: There are two types of battles. One is chatroom battling, where there is a referee to decide if attacks connect or miss. It's done by turns so when it's your turn you type in your attack or if you feel that you're gonna lose and want to save your ammo just type retreat. E-mail me if you want this type of battle and we'll decide a start time and chatroom. Chatroom battles are done using MSN or later on a chatroom that will be put on this website. The other way is easier for both me and you. You E-mail me who you want to fight and I'll ask them if they agree to your challenge. If you reject a challenge your rank will go down except if you are really weak against your challenger. Once both opponents agree to the fight, both will send a strategy for their characters to use against each other ex: for your fight you will use your speed to dodge your opponent's attack and chose a technique to finish him off with. Make sure you E-mail me your chose of battle ground for example the desert or outer space. Both the winner and loser get an increase in pilot stats but the winner will get money more money than the loser. Only battles will drain your ammunition not missions so be sure to reload after battling.
Missions and jobs:
To get money you have to do missions or jobs. In missions you can choose four levels of difficulty: easy, medium, hard and impossible. After completing a mission the level of your pilot will be increased.
To get money you have to do missions or jobs. In missions you can choose four levels of difficulty: easy, medium, hard and impossible. After completing a mission the level of your pilot will be increased not your mobile suit. If you try hard or impossible, you'll need to be a very experienced pilot to complete them but if you suceed your skills as a pilot will be increased much higher than what you would get for doing an easy or medium. If you fail a mission your mobile suit will be damaged and need to be repaired and you will get 5% of the pay but you still get an increase in skills. You also must send in a strategy to decide the outcome like battles. If you write a poor strategy it will greatly effect what will happen. In harder missions, you will have a good chance of succeeding with a great strategy but you will still need the stats to back it up. Don't use the same strategy over and over again, the AI will change and counter it. You can also buy secret information about the mission, the information will vary ex: you could find out what the defences are for that mission, a secret entrance, etc. For jobs its just the pilot who does the work like hiring out to be a farm aid or circus performer. Jobs are for people who want money but don't want to use up ammo, risk getting hurt or need the money to repair their mobile suit. The amount you get for each is posted on the Missions and Jobs sections. Missions will happen once a week. Each mission will have a limit to the amount of participants. All are allies in missions even if your rival is in the mission with you, you won't attack each other unless specified in your strategy.
Levels and Ranks: There are two sets of levels, your mobile suit's level and your pilot's level. To increase your mobile suit's level in a certain area you have to go to the place which specializes in that area like space colony two which specializes in stealth. You mobile suit gets an upgrade of 10 but you have to pay. To increase your pilot's skill you have to fight in battles not missions. If your pilot concentrates on using bullets and missiles his aim will go up. Another way to increase your pilot's skills in certain areas is to enroll him into training school where he will be taught by different instructors depending on which area he wants to improve but you also have to pay to do this. Instructors are on different places, you'll find where they are on the Instructor section. There are also two ranks one for your mobile suit and the other for your pilot. The ranks work like this for your mobile suit: mobile suit, special, elite, gundam and finally mobile armour and for your pilots: private, leiutenant, colonel, count, baron and finally martial. To increase your rank for your mobile suit it's stats have to be at a certain level and for your pilot, he has had to have won acertain amount of battles.
Fighting Style: To determine the way your character fights there are different styles: Swordsmen-Uses dueling weapons like beam sabers, swords, etc., Gun Slinger-Attacks head on with bullets, missiles and any other projectile, Assassin-Likes to be stealthy a go for one shot kills, Martial Arts-Uses nothing but bare fists and kicks to defeat an opponent, Sniper-Hides somewhere and takes out opponents from a safe distance, Hit and Run-Uses pure speed to dodge attacks and weaken down enemies in time, Endurance-Take the first attacks of your opponent then counterattack with your best moves, Warrior-Uses no specific skill to use as a main attack but then gets no advantage for his skills.
Organizations: An organization is a group of pilots under one chief commander/president. To get into one you have to be asked by the president or receive permission from him to join or you could make your own. The president is incharge of what missions you do with the group and who your organization is at war with. There also is the second in command aka the vice president who is appointed by the president and takes over for him if the president is away. Being in an organization is good way to ensure victory in hard or impossible missions. Your president or vice pres. decides which one your group will do and who will go if the mission limits the amount of men. If an organization gets really powerful I'll create their own colony as their base of operation and they'll be allowed to make 3 new weapons and 2 new types of mobile suits(henchmen) that they can sell to others or give some for themselves but still have to pay their own price to make them.
Health Bars: Health bars help make the gameplay more realistic. For example, your characters aren't machines, they need to rest sometimes and build up their strength to get the best performance out of them. Everytime you do something, like a mission, battle, job, etc. your health bar will go down but it will vary. If it reaches a very low percent there is a good chance he/she could die. To prevent this, send me an e-mail saying you would like your character to rest for a certain length to regain their strength. Even if your character has a 100% percent in their health bar doesn't mean they can't die but it will be very unlikely. If your charcter isn't resting, they should be doing something otherwise their bar will go down as a cause of laziness and poor physical condition. You character will know receive injuries such as a broken arm, spranged ankle and so on. Some of these can be treated at a hospital and others over time. Not only will your pilot have a health bar but so will your mobile suit. Think of it as an efficientcy bar, the lower it is the lower the performance of your suit is. The bar will count as many things, such as ammunition, energy, damages, etc. To raise the bar back up, just leave your suit at a maintenace garage but leaving it here will cost money becuase you have to pay for the services provided. Another thing is that like a pilot, your suit receives injuries too like a cut off arm, blown knee joint and other kinds of injuries. These can be repaired in time but will vary both in time and cost depending how serious the damages are.
