IF YOU COULD HEAR WHAT I HEAR
CHAPTER FIFTEEN

"I can't find it and we've searched all over this sector of the cemetery." Duo sighed as Heero caught up with them. "You don't think that Iria set us up do you?" He looked at the others. He didn't know the woman very well.

"No." Trowa said right away.

"Well, we've better hurry, we only got..." Duo looked at his watched. "We got an hour." He growled.

Heero looked around to look for any sign of Quatre. He was rewarded when he spotted the boy looking straight at him a few hundred feet away. The sharpness and intensity in those aquamarine eyes made Heero shiver. "Follow me." He whispered, then led his friends between rows and headstones.

"We looked over here alright Heero." Duo pointed out but Heero ignored him and kept his eyes on Quatre, afraid that the young spirit would disappear again. The blonde had turned and was now looking down at a grave. The four boys looked at the name and picture. "Quatrina Winner? Wow, she looks like Quatre." Duo pointed out.

Heero looked at the picture of the blonde woman and remembered.

---

"Father, who is the woman on your desk?"

"There's a woman on my desk?"

"Yes sir. That picture you always look at while you work."

"Oh, that woman."

"Who is she Father and why do I look so much like her?"

"Don't worry about it. Go study…I'm sorry Quatrina. I'm trying with him, but he is so much your son."

---

"She's his mother." Heero whispered, then noticed four shovels by a near by tree. He went over and grabbed them, passing Quatre.

"Quatre had a mom?" Duo seemed surprised. "He didn't say anything. 'Course, he never talked about his family." He remembered softly to himself.

"He didn't want people to know." Trowa spoke up, making everyone look at him. Heero noticed that Quatre turned to look at his former lover. "He wasn't ashamed of her or anything, but Quatre never knew her because she died during his birth. His father didn't even tell him and he still thinks that Quatre died never knowing." He shook his head.

"Iria told him." Heero remembered from the first memory Quatre had given him. Trowa looked at him and nodded quietly. The Wing pilot glanced down at a grave beside Quatrina Winner. Quickly, Heero shined his flashlight on the headstone. The others gathered around him. Wufei cleared his throat. "The occupant is unknown for the body was unidentifiable but was proven to be Winner descendant. From now until forever they shall be known as 'The Nameless Little Prince'."

"Whoa, sucks to be that guy, 'specially if he's actually a female." Duo sighed, shaking his head.

"It's Quatre." Heero replied shortly.

"What?" Wufei asked as everyone looked at him. "You're sure?" Heero nodded. "How can you be sure? We don't know how old this site is, I mean the ground does not look fresh and neither does the headstone." He pointed out and the others agreed.

Heero looked at Quatre in silent question. Quatre looked at him and nodded. "My father was ashamed of me." He whispered.

"It's Quatre, just trust me." Heero growled slightly. "Now, we've got forty five minutes. Let's hurry." He shoved a shovel at the others. They grabbed the other shovels and began to dig.
