Why make blue prints of WWII crates and related boxes to only post them on the internet for free?

The originals are drying up every year they are harder to find. Not to mention the prices are going up. The average 50 Cal box sells around $75 to $125 depending on the condition. Why buy an original to show on your vehicle or diplay when you have to worry about conserving history and not damaging it? Why not use a reproduction that you do not have to worry about conserving since all you have in it is time and cost of material and there is no historical value related to it? I have been working on this little project of mine since the first of this year after seeing what people were charging for reproduction crates. Some dealers are selling reproduction K ration crates for $55 to $70. Not that I am knocking anyones reproductions or their prices. That is business and they do a great job! But for those of us on a budget, here is a cheap aternative way to get what we need for our displays at a significantly lower cost. Also there will be stencils that you can copy from, all you have to do is copy on to normal paper then trace cut it on normal manilla envelopes. This is how I make most of my own stencils for this stuff. Along with the blue prints will be pictures I have of the crates I have made so far.
