Mels Jeep or rather GPW in the begining...

This little project belongs to a friend of mine by the name of Mel, he is from St. Mary's, PA. He called me up one night and said hey i found me a jeep too. I was very happy for him to say the least. As you can see in the picture Mel had plenty of room to work on his project and even had a handy dandy crane he put in the ceiling. Now look at the picture below, that is the same jeep you see here. Only now it is looking and driving like it is brand new.

Mels jeep at the Bridge.....

Is this a Bridge too far? Its the same bridge i have pictures of on this site, me and the wife decided to go on a jeep outing and called Mel to see if he would like to bring his jeep as well. Mel lives an hour norht of where I use to live in Dubois, PA. Of course he said yes and it was on like Donkey Kong then. As some of the younger people put it. Mel has done a wonderful job on his jeep. He put the markings of the 28th Infantry Division which is from PA and took part in many campaigns in WII. There are more pictures of his jeep with mine on that outing in the Finished jeep page 3.
