Instead of purchasing all of the equipement to blast the parts I was able to locate a shop that blasted 39 parts for $250.00. What a deal! Everything was blasted and primed too! The guy that did the job was slowing down last winter with business so I guess I caught him at a good time. He also did all the welding that was needed and welded the replacement bumper gussets.

Look at all the parts in the back of the MB. I was able to save everything you see in the back with the exception of the transmission case which I traded for a few parts I needed.

The fuel pump still retained the original lever and the oil filter housing and bracket were easily restored after blasting.
