Flood
Lucifer frowned as his right eye twitched.
“You just had to come in and ruin everything.” He blew smoke rings from his
nostrils. This was not going to end now. The brothers weren’t getting anywhere
with their mission. It looked like he was going to have up the ante.
He placed three small stones on his tongue. Lucifer closed his eyes and chanted
in his head. The dark king opened his eyes and swallowed them down.
“Metal, wood, and darkness! Come to my aid!” he shouted. The shadows flew out of
his body. His jaw hung open. The clouds flew out of his mouth. Lucifer’s body
went limp.
And here it was.
The final push was on its way.

Metal
Spike was about out of bullets. He only had one clip left. It didn’t help that
Miya was still hanging onto his leg. Pire wouldn’t let up despite being down one
arm, one leg, and most of his face.
“You done?” Spike asked. The demon moved like he was laughing. The cowboy rolled
his eyes. Suddenly, he heard a sound behind him.
Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink.
“Let me guess, this is another brother of yours?” he asked. Pire moved as if
laughing again.
Say
hello to my brother, Zo!
Spike didn’t get a chance to respond when a sharp pain shot him in the right
shoulder. Miya screamed and grabbed the sides of her head. Her father clenched
his teeth. He took in a heavy breath. Still, he wouldn’t drop the gun. Spike was
now going to have to make a decision. The scream of his daughter and Zo speaking
to him to choose for him.
“How long do you think you can keep this up—you and her?”
Spike clicked his tongue and smirked at the challenge. There was only one thing
that he had to say.
“Bang.”
He pulled out his gun. Only six bullets left. He was going to have to make this
work long enough to get back to his wife.
Bang! Bang!

Wood
Sakura could take the fire. The edges of her wings were burnt away. Her back had
second-degree burns on her back. Still, she would not back down. Nuri wiped the
blood from his mouth.
“You’re quite tough, aren’t you?” he asked. “Tell me something, why won’t you
back down?” The tenshi-chi breathed in the thin air.
“My family needs me,” she said in between breaths. Nuri’s throat burned as he
smirked. His own flames were pushing him to his limit. He hadn’t expected her to
fight back so much. Too late to turn back now.
That’s when he heard a faint chattering around them around him.
Sakura looked up. “What was that?” Smoke came out of Nuri’s mouth as he laughed.
His neck started to make cracking noises.
“Say hello to my brother, Oak,” he said. The tenshi-chi frowned. Really? That
was his name? She didn’t get time to ponder that even further.
Boom!
A wood bomb blew up in her face. Little bits of wood stung on her face. She was
lucky enough to close her eyes in time. Still, that did little to detract from
the blood running down her face. Wood in the front and fire at her back. Despite
this, Sakura wouldn’t quit. Her husband and her daughter were all that she was
thinking about.
I will
not back down! I have to get home!
Boom!
This time, Sakura tried to dodge. More wood shards got her right cheek and cut
little strands of her hair. She fell to the ground and aimed for the legs. The
tenshi-chi must have got a clean hit because she heard screaming over her head.
“Ow! Bitch!”
Sakura got kicked in the face. She tumbled backward, but she still won’t back
down.

Darkness
The final brother took his time to come here. When he looked around, he saw
there was no point. This family wasn’t going to give up and the main target of
this revenge was dead.
Wait…
The demon of darkness lifted his head. Something wasn’t right. It was then He
froze with his back to his target. A small smile spread across his face.
“Well, well, well,” he said to himself. “It was about time you showed your
face.” The demon turned his head.
“Let me guess, you’re here to end this, aren’t you?” he asked. There was a
pause. The demon chuckled to himself.
“Well okay,” he said. “Show me what you got.”
---------
Suddenly, Spike’s body went limp as his arm slumped down to his side. His gun
hit the ground with a clank. Pire and Zo froze.
Hm? Are
you asleep?
“Enough of this already.” The cowboy lifted his head. His eyes were glowing a
light red.
