Yulia Umeki

    Rude, loud, rebellious, wild, and a beautiful girl. Yulia doesn't about what anybody thinks of her. But before you fully judge her, the girl has had a rough life. A gang of thugs kidnapped her from her Russian grandfather when she was three years old. She would have to steal things for them. If she didn't do anything right, they would beat her up. One night the thugs almost killed her. When Yulia got a little better, she ran away. She ran away to her boyfriend's house and fell down onto the porch. And she has stayed there ever since. Yulia and her boyfriend's mom and sister hate each other. She helps Belldandy by chasing away other girls that try to steal Keiichi away from her. Yulia is really good at swimming and archery.
Belldandy

    Belldandy is a goddess with an unlimited 1st class, 2nd category license and is in charge of the "present". Belldandy came down from the heavens to grant Keiichi his wish after he called a wrong number. After she made his wish come true, she has been living with him at the Tariki-hoganji temple ever since. She is a very pure and kind person- a role model for all the goddesses. At the same time, she is also a very strong willed person. Belldandy's little sister, Skuld, is very protective of her. She tries to help Yulia be good.
Shone Eiji Murata

    Charming dream boy, Shone is Yulia's hot rich boyfriend. He deeply cares for Yulia and wants her to turn her life around for the good. Shone is the boy in the family. His mother dotes on him so much that the boys at his school call him a "momma's boy." Shone doesn't like that and wishes his mother would let him breathe and make his own choices in life. He tries to help Yulia do the right things and stay out of trouble. Shone is good at swimming and archery as well. He has three sisters, a dog, and his mother is divorced.
Keiichi Morisato

    Keiichi is a freshman in Nekomi Institute of Technology. He is short, a little shy, cannot swim, and does not have a girlfriend until he meets Belldandy. Keiichi is the star driver for the Nekomi Institute of Technology's Automobile Club. He also builds and drives motorcycles. Keiichi has black hair and brown eyes. He also is quite prone to being involved in accidents (falling off the roof and other things). The three goddesses Belldandy, Skuld, and Urd live with him.
Kaneko Ise Murata
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 25
    Shone's older sister, Kaneko sees Yulia as a sister and helps along with Belldandy and her brother to Yulia on the right track. She moved out of the house when she was eighteen. Kaneko and her mother don't see eye to eye and sometimes have small brawls. But she does try to keep the peace in the Murata household. Kaneko is engaged and pays for Yulia's archery and swimming lessons. She is a huge cat-lover.
Skuld
Species: Goddess
Gender: Female
Age: 12
    At only 12 earth years old, Skuld is the youngest of the 3 Goddess sisters from "Aa Megami-sama!." She is a very strong-willed girl who is in charge of "debugging" the Yggdrasil mainframe up in the Heavens, as well as the occasional bug that appears on the Surface World. She has brown eyes and long black hair accompanied by a sometimes fiery temper that can only be pacified by her older sister Belldandy, whom she really looks up to.
    Her favorite thing to do is to build all sorts of mechanical devices, although some don't end up functioning quite the way she intended. Her best inventions include Banpei-kun, the anti-Marller defense robot and Skuld's Own Debugging Machine, a modified rice cooker that specializes in catching bugs in a manner similar to the Ghostbusters' Ghost Trap. Her other sister is Urd.
Juri Kin Murata
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 15
    Shone's younger sister, Juri hates Yulia with a passion. In fact she talks down to her and tries to get her thrown out of the house. Juri is a spoiled brat and a mini-version of her mother. But in the Yulia, Kaneko, the goddesses, and Shone put her back in check with life. Juri wants to be a singer when she grows up. She is the top students in all of her classes.
Urd
Species: Goddess
Gender: Female
Age: 24

    Urd is the older sister of Belldandy and Skuld and is also a goddess. She is quite flashy in her choice of apparel and is a trouble maker. Urd acts as Cupid for Keiichi and Belldandy because she cannot stand seeing Keiichi act like an idiot in front of her sister (in other words, Urd wants Keiichi to make the moves on Belldandy).

Koto Sayo Murata

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Age: 8

    Shone's youngest sister, Koto loves Yulia to pieces!!!! Her mother really loves her to death. Koto tries to help her brother, sister, the goddesses and Keiichi with Yulia to keep her on the right track. She likes ballet, dolls, the color pink, and tea parties. Koto has a lot of friends. She is a little sweetheart.

Megumi Morisato

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Age: 18

    Megumi is the little sister of Keiichi, she's only one year younger than him. She loves the presence of the goddesses and she also likes Belldandy's cooking. Though Megumi is the closest one to Keiichi, she doesn't know Belldandy and the others are goddesses. She does think it's odd that all weird things happen around Keiichi and herself.

    Besides all this, she is also interested in motors. She's a member of Motor club and the Nekomi Tech Softball Team. She knows a lot about motors and the structure of it, Skuld is sort of jealous of this. At first Megumi lives with Keiichi and Belldandy, because she doesn't have an apartment for herself yet. After she found one, she moved out.

Kimi Fujiko Murata

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Age: 45

    Kaneko, Shone, Juri, and Koto's mother, Kimi loves the riches of life. But she hates Yulia with a passion. Kimi is so cruel to Yulia by locking her out of the house, calling her names, and treating her like a servant. She is divorced and is romantically in love with her new boyfriend. Kimi is really clingy to her children, especially Shone because he is her only son. She likes drinking and money.

Mara

Species: Demon

Gender: Female

Age: 24

    Mara was one of the goddesses' childhood friends, though now she's a demon she can get quite good along with the goddesses. Urd and Mara used to be very good friends, but got separated when Urd chose for her good side. Though Mara is the arch-rival of the goddesses she likes being with them. Her actual duty is to ruin the activities of the goddesses, disrupt the efforts of the goddesses and to make them suffer.

    There are two things Mara can't stand: She can't stand 'Lucky charms', it's like giving garlic to a vampire. And she can't stop dancing when she hears good rock music.

    It seems like Mara's doing her job in the manga, but she constantly gets interrupted by the three goddesses. She's also trying to break Keiichi and Belldandy up, by using evil objects and demons. At first she introduces herself to Keiichi as Belldandy's fiancée. Keiichi didn't see that Marller was actually female, so he believed it was true.

James Anderson

    James is Kimi's rich boy toy. She loves him so much that it makes Yulia sick to her stomach. James is British. The children (even Juri again) don't like him so much and don't understand why.

Otaki

    Otaki is Keiichi's sempai. He has a weird fetish for lucky charms, but he hates dogs. He also has a girlfriend in the manga, named Satoko Yamano.

Kenji Nijo

    Kenji is Kaneko's fiancée. Kimi has her doubts on him. The man looks like a rocker guy. But Kenji actually has good grades and a great business going. Plus, he loves Kaneko and is truly loyal to her. Kenji helps his wife-to-be keep Yulia on the right track.

Peorth

    Peorth is not from the same office as Belldandy and her sisters. Keiichi dialed a wrong number again, and got connected to the 'Earth assistance hotline' this time Peorth came to visit Mr. Morisato. Because Peorth is a wish fulfiller like Belldandy, Kei can make a new wish. Since Keiichi wish is already fulfilled by Belldandy he doesn't want to make one. This causes Peorth to follow Keiichi around until he makes up his mind. She's trying to seduce him and she's trying to make clear that she's here to satisfy Kei's sexual desire. Peorth also uses French words sometimes even her angel's name is French (La rose magnifique = The glorious rose).

    Peorth lives a short while with the other three goddesses in Keiichi's house. During her stay she likes to thwart Belldandy. Peorth does have a reason for this, at least she thinks she has... She plans a date for herself and Keiichi, but it doesn't go and end as she planned. Peorth finds herself charming and beautiful and she likes to read comic books.

Haga-san

    Haga-san is the principal of Shoga-Kurumi academy. Yulia hated him at first. But as it turns out, Haga-san is trying to help her turn her life around. He sees Yulia and Shone as his children.

Sayoko Mishima

Species: Human

Age: 24

    Sayoko is one of the rich and popular girls at school. When Belldandy appears she gets all of the attentions of the guys, instead of Sayoko. Mishima gets jealous of Belldandy and wants to make her upset by seducing Keiichi, even though she doesn't 'really' like him. Sayoko doesn't have any real friends, she hangs around with her cousin Aoshima or sometimes with the guys from the motor club. She also likes to put others down and make fun of them.

    In the manga she really wants to get rid of Belldandy. Because Sayoko does not know that Belldandy and her sisters are goddesses, she tries to spy on her, to figure out why all those weird things happen around Keiichi. She thinks Belldandy and the others are witches and all they do are tricks. To get rid of Belldandy, Sayoko was even willing to cooperate with the demon Marller.

Shinta Yamakage

    Shinta is Kaneko, Shone, Juri, and Koto's father. He is banned from seeing or having contact with them by Kimi. She hate Shinta with a passion. The kids (even Juri) feel differently though. Yulia becomes the ticket for Shone and his sisters to get in touch with Shinta.

Tamiya Toraichi

    Tamiya is one of Keiichi's sempai's. He is a huge guy with a small heart. He's always picking on Keiichi and let him do things nobody wants to do. Otaki is his best friend, together they rule the Motor club. He dislikes disobedience from others. He likes everything that has to do with motors.

Rosie

    Rosie is Shone's dog. She seems to love Yulia and co. a lot. Kimi spoils Rosie to pieces. Yulia plans to take the dog with her and Shone when they move out.

Aoshima Toshiyuki

Species: Human

Age: 21

    Aoshima is Sayoko's cousin, a freshman at the Nekomi Institute of Technology, majoring in telecommunications. At first he joined the Motor Club to date Belldandy. Then he spread sleazy rumors about the Motor Club that Urd and Belldandy are already taken by Keiichi, to get Belldandy for himself. Along with Sayoko he tries to figure out what kind of being Belldandy is, he thinks she's some sort of magician.

    Toshiyuki also has some sort of weakness for delicious food, this is probably some sort of traumatic thing he left over of his childhood. His mother was a business woman and she never fixed him lunch. Belldandy does not only make food that's tasty, but she also puts love in it.

    To compete the Motor Club, Aoshima made his own club; NIT Four Wheels Club. This new club doesn't have any problems with their budget (Aoshima is rich) and with the money he has, he can easily get new members, by misleading them with the stuff they can offer. And the Motor Club, well.. they have nothing to offer.

    Toshiyuki is really after Belldandy, she's is the only one he focuses on. He tries to figure out what Belldandy is and how come all weird things start to happen when one of Belldandy's friends are in trouble.

Diana

Species: Human or Demon?

Age: 19

    Diana is Yulia's panther in crime. They go clubbing together, partying together, and even make Sayoko's life a living hell. Shone and the others see Diana as a bad influence on Yulia. But, she is friend or enemy? Nobody really knows about Diana or her past. "It doesn't matter" she says. Strange......
