The door slammed. Heero sighed. He's strong for a mouthy guy, I might have to replace that door. Again. He continued to type. He blinked at what he had written
'jkhfesbfuetfwhdjhi]uefkejwfbjasjfahsfjbeugfjebfjsgefwaurewrbeskjfbeiurbwjfbuiefjfbkefhesirfwjbfjab olarjwnugfwqbwrjbajgdyawljfbsjfbwrbejsabfjegfwabfjiegfjsadkjsafabfuewfubefhuabfuafb...'
Oops. He heard a soft knock as the door pushed open.
"He broke the door again."
"I know."
"What did you do this time?"
"You always assume it's me."
"It normally is. If it was him, you'd be the one slamming the door. But I suppose we must thank the Goddess for small blessings. If you slammed the door we'd have to deal with the splinters." Nul walked over to Heero and hugged him from behind. He put his hands on her arms and hugged her back.
"So, what did you do?"
"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"
"Maybe that's the problem." Heero turned around and glared at her, abandoning the laptop. She pulled him onto the bed. They sat there, holding hands.
"You didn't tell him, did you?"
"I....well...no." He hung his head in defeat.I can't hide anything from her...
She resisted the urge to slap the 'perfect soldier' upside the head.
"I have never met someone so emotionally out of touch!"
"What about Trowa? Or Wufei..." he said slyly, knowing that this would get him off the hook.
"Don't remind me. Wufei- hey, you're changing the subject! We were talking about you not... the others."
"I'm sorry, I just can't..."
"Damnit, why is it so hard to say?! There's a word for it in every language. The Greeks have four while the French...."
"Bully for them," muttered Heero sullenly.
"You are such a pain!" she said, stroking one hand. "Three words Heero! Three freaking words! You feel it, you believe it, why can't you say it?!"
"Dr. J had my emotions removed, I don't feel..."
"Oh, bull. You have raging male hormones for Cupidsakes! You're young!"
"But...."
"You are pathetic! There are euphemisms you could use."
"Well..."
"We could practice, for when he comes back."
"Ok, fine. He won't come back. He will never forgive me." "He loves you, he'll always come back. Even if he doesn't, you'll go after him, won't you?"
Heero's eyes flashed. "Of course I will! I l...l..."
"By the Gods! Ok, repeat after me. I..."
"I..."
"Love...."
"L-love"
"You..."
"You...." The door swung open. Violet eyes swirrled with emotion. Pain, anger, betrayal, longing...
"Duo! We were just talking about you. Come here." Duo didn't move. She sighed, irritated. Not letting go of Heero, she grabbed Duo and yanked him on to the bed. She replaced her other hand with Duo's. She could feel the sparks between the two boys. They tried to pull away, but she held the hands together.
"Now you two, I know how Heero feels and I'm pretty sure that you feel the same Duo, so neither of you are moving until you work this out," she said smiling, her undertone steelly.
When neither boy said anything, she gave in to her earlier temptation. She smacked both boys upside the head. Neither boy had expected the blow.
"What you do that for?" they chorused.
"Heero you promised! We practiced!! tell him!!!"
Heero looked into Duo's eyes. He felt like he was drowning in violets. The only way to save himself was to say it...
"I...love....you...Duo."
Duo's eyes widended and he beamed. "Oh Heero, I love you too!" He hugged Heero tightly. They both grinned like idiots. They turned to Nul. She grinned in triumph.
"Now, was that so hard? I'll leave you two alone and tell the others that you'll be busy this evening. Oh and keep one thing in mind."
"Oh?"
"The male sexual peak is at age 18. You two are going to have a lot of fun in a couple of years."
"What about Trowa and Quatre?"
"They consumated their love last night and I had nothing to do with it. Not much," she amended, under scrutiny.
"And Wufei?"
"Someday..."
The End
Yes! That was fun!
