Our History

Hear It All was founded in 2002. Hear It All now employs around 20 people. Our head office is located in Welland, Ontario, which is where our research, development and administration is based, as well as most of our production.

Hear It All began with two employees working out of their basement.

In 2003 we were awarded the new product of the year in the region.

Investors began to take notice of the company, and in 2004 the production line was moved out of the basement and Hear It All was founded.

Stories, Myths, and Legends

The Hear It All company began as a one-man operation in the President's basement. The idea came after listening to his father complain about his mother's hearing problem and the price of modern hearing aids, which they could not afford. At the time, he was working as an electronics technician in a small repair shop, giving him access to everything he would need. He worked nights and weekends to perfect the first low cost, high-efficiency hearing aid.

This first model worked so well that soon he was making them for other family members and some of their friends. Word spread about this new invention, and within six months of completing the first unit, so many people wanted one that he was unable to keep up with the demand alone. It was at this time that the first employee was hired to help produce more units.

Soon, they purchased a new building, and opened their first production line. In less than a year, the company has eight employees working full time. Since then, Hear It All has developed new models of the original product and a range of new products.
