Batman/Terry McGinnis
Justice Leaguer

Terry McGinnis is the second person to take up the name Batman. When Derek Powers AKA Blight murdered Terry's father, and Terry discovered plans for illegal biological weapons, he turned to the only man who could help him, Batman. When a bitter Bruce Wayne pushed Terry away, Terry responded by stealing the batsuit and proceeded to exact his own form of justice. Bruce tried to stop him, but Terry reasoned that the biological weapons were shipping that night, and it would be his last chance for vengeance against his father's killer. Having lost his parents in the same way, Wayne finally conceded and allowed Terry to stop Powers. After Terry succeeded in stopping Powers, Wayne deemed Terry worthy enough to become the next Batman. He was certainly inexperienced and young, but so were Wayne's other prodigies. Thus the mantle was handed down, and Terry McGinnis became the next Batman. He soon met up with Superman and Andrew Kelly as Powers tried to take over AK Corp. However, the three joined to stop Powers and discovered he was the nuclear powered Blight. The battle forged a friendship between the three of them that later led to Terry became a founding member of the Justice League.
