The Battle for Metropolis
Battle that occurred in 2042, in which Emperor Kelly and the United States Empire tried to take over Metropolis. AK Corp, the Neo-US, Clark Kent, Adam Kelly, Superman, Superboy and 21st century Legion of Superheroes stopped them. However, before Emperor Kelly was killed and his army destroyed, they destroyed the entire city of Metropolis. In all, 500,000 AK Corp and Neo-US army officers were killed and 1 million civilians were killed including Jimmy Olsen. Most of members of the Legion were killed, thus ending the existence of the Legion until the 30th century. All of Emperor Kelly’s one billion men army was killed including himself. Afterwards, Utopia and AK Corp joined forces to build a new futuristic Metropolis, looking much like the B-13 Metropolis seen in the DC Comics Universe.
