Oliver Queen had lived several lifetimes since he was first stranded on the deserted Starfish Island, where he survived by teaching himself how to shoot a makeshift bow and arrow. Fancying himself a modern-day Robin Hood, the billionaire returned to his home in Gotham City and became the adventurer called Green Arrow. Evolving into a hard-traveling hero amid losing his foutune and company to Adam Kelly, he endured some heavy soul-searching. Green Arrow was often as blunt as can be with a Justice League (the original one) he believed was sometimes blind to society's gravest injustices. Though no longer a full-time member by 2043, the still-liberal Green Arrow and most of his teammates were killed in the nuclear explosion, caused by the death of Captain Atom, that destroyed Coast City.
