Doc Holiday, who was born Jack Holliday, is a powerful telekinetic mutant and was once the world’s greatest serial killer but later learned the error of his ways. Reformed, he wished to fight for the forces of good and to atone for the pain he had caused. Lord Kal-el released Jack from prison in hopes others would follow and was granted parole in the custody of Justice League. He became the first recruit of the League. Due to his parole, when Jack is not fighting evil, he can never leave the Watchtower, making him the only leaguer to fight in all their battles since he joined the team. His temper and tendency for violence are trademarks of days as the one of Jack Kent/Superman’s deadliest foes.
