Kanjar Ro
As the dictator – or “Delon” – of the planet Dhor, Kanjar Ro had sought to gain the upper hand against warring rulers in the Altair star system. Journeying to Earth, he captured and forcibly enlisted members of the original Justice League to defeat his rivals. The League eventually broke Kanjar’s hold and bested him, thought in the process made themselves an enemy bent on personal retribution.
However, in 2043, Kanjar Ro became part of an army of super-villains created by Visharon to prevent the first JLA and the Avengers from stopping Timeshaper from taking the Creator's powers. During the battle, Kanjar Ro and most of his fellow villains were killed in the nuclear explosion, caused by the death of Captain Atom, that destroyed Coast City.
The current JLA also met a common space pirate named Kanjar-Ro in 2071. Kanjar-Ro was paid by the Manhunters to frame John Stewart for the destruction of Delta Vega V.
