Kobra, leader of the Korba Cult, was the world’s deadliest international terrorist. Commanding a legion of Kobra soldiers willing to die at his bidding, this master tactician’s planes are vast, but his sole purpose was to usher in the age of Kali Yuga – the time when chaos reigns supreme. The insurrectionist had yet to succeed, but he had continually withstood numerous counterattacks from Earth’s mightiest heroes. His followers also believed it was only a matter of time until Kobra’s undying vemon for human life finally took its toll.
However, in 2043, Kobra and his army became part of an army of super-villains created by Visharon to prevent the first JLA and the Avengers from stopping Timeshaper from taking the Creator's powers. During the battle, Kobra, his army and most of his fellow villains were killed in the nuclear explosion, caused by the death of Captain Atom, that destroyed Coast City.
