Original Justice League | Zatanna
Zatanna was the daughter of famed magician/crimefighter John Zatara and the sorceress Sindella. Sindella's sister was Selena, who killed Lauren Kent, the third Supergirl and daughter of Adam Kent/Superman. Zatanna was a one-time JLA member who was clearly in a league of her own. When she wasn’t dazzling the audience with her stage show – which was equally impressive whether she used true magic or expert sleight-of-hand – this sentinel of magic wielded her backwards-recited incantations against the dark arcane forces that run amok on Earth. However in 2043, Zatanna and most of her teammates were killed in the nuclear explosion, caused by the death of Captain Atom, that destroyed Coast City.
