The Arrival
Intently we await her arrival.
We would gladly die for her
survival.
We listen for her motorcar to
arrive,
And spread the word as it pulls in the
drive.
As she makes her entrance,
We bow and howl and dance!
And around her gathers the
crowd!
Oh, how she makes us so proud!
A step behind, we faithfully follow
her,
And are always at her side
everywhere.
You ask, "Could she be a Princess or a
Queen?"
But nay, such loyal subjects no royal has ever
seen--
For the doings of royalty are really quiet a
bore
When compared to our master coming home from the
store!
