Heroes
"When man is in trouble,
God sends him a dog."
--Alphonse de Lamartine
Throughout history, there have been numerous canine heroes who
have left their paw prints on the hearts of humans. Some have served
their country in times of war, some are known for their search and rescue
efforts, some are remembered for their extraordinary acts of loyalty and
devotion, some assist law enforcement officers, some serve as eyes and
ears for their masters, some detect seizures and heart attacks, some are
therapy dogs for the ill and elderly, some protect their humans in times
of trouble or attack, and countless others are heroes to their owners
because of the love and companionship they provide each and every day.
Below are some of my favorite links
