If I Were A Human (I Tell
You What I'd Do)
If I were a human, I tell you what I'd
do:
I'd have so many animals, my home would be a
zoo. I wouldn't have time for war at
all,
I'd be much too busy playing
ball. I'd never turn a dog or cat out only to be a
stray,
'Cause I'd know they'll witness in Heaven
someday. If I were a human, I tell you what I'd
do:
I'd have fun with my pets playing
peek-a-boo. I'd never sentence a dog forever to a
chain,
Or make him sleep out in the snow and
rain. For my animals, I'd be a kind and gentle
teacher,
'Cause I'd know each one is God's special
creature. If I were a human, I tell you what I'd
do:
My pets would have lots of food, fresh water
too. I wouldn't spend time on hate or
greed,
But on being a shining example of my
breed. I'd fill the world with love and smiles
too,
'Cause I'd still know what a dog would
do. Cheyenne copyright
