Do Dogs Have A Soul?
An age old question I've been told
Is "Do Dogs Have A Soul,
And how would you know?"
The answer of course lies
Somewhere in a dog's eyes--
A gaze of love complete,
A love that knows no retreat,
A love that will endure all strife,
A love that will last for life.
But I've heard many a tale
Of people who greedily sell
Many a pup to leave in a cell,
Those who leave dogs on a road
'Cause they were too much of a load,
And those who cruelly abuse
Animals they selfishly use.
I wonder do these beings have a soul,
And just how would you know?
