My Destiny Shall Be Fulfilled!

eHw Hardcore Tv returns from the Born To Be Wired commercial as Bret stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand ready to speak. Cameras zoom in on the Hitman as the crowd realizes that the commercial is over and Bret is ready to speak.

Bret Hart: “Here we are ready for another installment of Born To Be Wired 3. The tournament is at a close to crown a new champion and surprise, surprise, it all comes down to me and the Sandman. Like I told you people before, I would easily walk through this tournament and low and behold this past Tuesday night on Turmoil, I walked right through the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. I beat his ass so quickly, if you got up to take a piss, you would’ve missed it. Like all my other opponents in the tournament, I got him in the middle of my ring, I locked on my sharpshooter, and he tapped! He talked all this trash about always one upping me in the WWE but I proved him wrong not only before the match in my interview but in the ring as well. Michaels, you can use the excuse that you got attacked before the match all you want but when I do win my World Title, and I do face you again and beat in the ring one more time, I want no excuses from you. I don’t even think you can handle Sting let alone Me. But moving on from you to my final test at Born to Be Wired 3 and that is my old personal friend, the Sandman *CHEERS*. How’s it going buddy? We both talked a little smack about each other before our matches at Turmoil but we never really got down to brass tax. I at least never thought that you would get your drunk ass together and make it to the finals but hey shit happens. I’ve already told the world about how you and Heyman screwed me once, and more recently how you tried to steal my glory of retiring Sid Vicious. But what else has the Sandman always tried to carry over me? Your a Crown of Barbwire champ huh? How can you Sandman be a Crown of Barbwire champ? What that means you stupid drunk, is that you couldn’t cut it in the World Title ranks. You may have been the first World Heavyweight champion here but looks like you couldn’t cut it in those ranks the whole time could you. You got knocked down plenty of times Sandman, you got knocked down to the minors here and had to wrestle the Al Snow’s for the cheaper belts. Me, I only won the Television Title because Paul Heyman knew he needed some real name recognition with that belt. And as I’ve said time and time again, as soon as I dropped that useless piece of shit title I was World Champion the very next week. The Crown of Barbwire is overrated and I am living proof of that. Look at Sid Vicious the first champ and look at what I did to him. Look at Scott Steiner, a legend at one point but I would crush him if he came near me now. Raven, I ruined his first night in the company when he tried to help you cheat to beat me. And you Sandman, I’ve beaten you more than any other man in the history of eHw. Do you know what that means, I am better than all of you. I am beyond a Crown of Barbwire champion. Everybody in the world knows when those belts come back around I can easily win the ones I’m missing and put my name in the record books but why? It doesn’t matter. There is one record book I will be in however, on record that is far more prestigious than any Crown of Barbwire. That record is the longest running World Heavyweight champion. Not only with my win tonight will I be five time champion, making me the man to hold that title more than anybody else except for you Sandman who I’d be tying, but I will also start my journey to break Scott Steiner’s three and a half month record on top with the Belt. That accolade is actually something to brag about boys. That is something that few have dared to look upon because no one can actually do it. You Sandman have failed, Steiner has failed, I have failed but here in the new eHw, here with the new blood, there isn’t a man that can beat me. I’ve seen everything Heyman’s got right now, I’ve seen all the would be challengers like Shawn Michaels and Sting and you know what, I’m not impressed in the least bit. You see come this Sunday when I defeat you Sandman, I will be the only wrestler in eHw who is still undefeated. I haven’t lost yet to anybody and I’ve taken on the real challengers, not the has beens of eHw. I will mark my place on Sunday as the best and will continue to prove week after week, month after month, year after year! By the time my World Title reign has finished, the Sandman will be nothing but a mere memory of a forgotten era. The only thing that will matter in eHw from this day forward is Bret the “Hitman” Hart and his tradition of Excellence. And when I finally decide to retire and pass the belt along Heyman will be forced to start a new honor in my name, the longest and greatest World Heavyweight champion in history award, the Hitman Hart award *SEA OF BOOS*.

Bret Hart: “Of course that is all the near future, I still have to actually step inside the ring with the Sandman and beat him at his own game. You see Sandman, you really aren’t that great of a wrestler. You are only a part of a branch in professional wrestling. You’re a hardcore wrestler, that’s all you know, that’s all you can do. Me, I can do everything and anything. Since you spent your life wrestling in Hardcore matches do you think you have a higher pain threshold? Do you think after all the chair shots, flamming tables you were put through, all the barbwire you were put on, that you can withstand the pain of my sharpshooter? Everyone, and I mean everyone has been locked and beaten with my Sharpshooter in this business. You can tap like a bitch just like Shawn Michaels did this past Tuesday. You can play hero and pass out from the pain just like Austin did at Wrestlemania 13 it makes no difference. Because when it’s all over and when it’s all said and done, I still walk out with my hand raised and you walk out the loser. As far as my pain threshold goes for matches. Well just ask anybody who actually knows my father and anybody who has actually ever experienced the dungeon to tell you about real pain Sandman. You see Hardcore wrestling isn’t constant pain, it’s a high spot match where you take a big bump and roll around for a few good minutes while the fans go nuts. My father Stu would lock me up in the most painful moves know to man, moves that would test your limits as a man. He would put those moves on me and leave them on for a half-hour, an hour, long periods of time where all you can think about, all that’s running through your mind is pain. That is what trained me to be a wrestler and that’s what has gotten me through every match I’ve been in. You can watch any of my matches and notice that I tend to take a little more punishment in my matches than my opponent. Yet by the time the match is over I have the wrestler locked up and they are slamming their hand against the mat tapping. Our World Title match, our one on one encounter Sandman is a Barbwire match like every other match on the card. That is what makes eHw, extreme Hardcore wrestling. That is what makes Born to Be Wired what it is. And critics will give you the edge because of that. They say that the Hitman doesn’t have the hardcore experience necessary to beat the Sandman in this match. Well, if all that talk about the dungeon and pain threshold isn’t enough, think about this. The Sandman has come up short the last two times at Born to Be Wired. No matter how you slice it the momentum is in my favor. Twice Sandman you have stepped into a match at Born to Be Wired and twice you have come up on the short end of the stick. Even your famous match against Raven in ECW, you came up short that night as well with Barbwire in the mix. Bottom line is this, I am a technical wrestler that can do it all, like any GOOD World Heavyweight champion should be. You Sandman are just a hardcore wrestler who should be fighting for some cheap imitation of the Hard 10 TNA title.”

Bret Hart: “What’s another fact you constantly try to hold over my head? You love to say how you are the unquestioned best in eHw history and you’ve been here from the start to finish. Well the Undertaker has been around in the WWE for years, going on decades and I can’t think of anybody who would consider him the best. Now let’s look at the cold hard facts. You have been World Heavyweight champion in eHw on five occasion. Myself, I have been four, going on Five on Sunday. I will tie and catch up with you on Sunday and you know what Sandman, I did it in half the time it took you to do it. You aren’t even the longest running World champion, an honor that will belong to me in four months. You think you’re better, or the best because you won the Crown of Barbwire and stuck around beating the midcard talent. You think that is what being the best is. Being the best Sandman is going on week in and week out and beating every single guy that steps in front of you. In my time in eHw, I hold a win over every single superstar who has beaten me along with a win over countless others who have never beaten me. Can you say the same for yourself. How about the fact that since eHw has reopened it was me who led the resurgence Sandman, not you. It was MY eHw desire studios that gives you a job in eHw now. That would make me the new franchise player boy. And I am the perfect candidate for that *BOOS*. You people can boo all you want but look at how Shawn Michaels and Sting are both after me. Look at the fact that the new eHw talent are coming after me, because they all know I am the man here in eHw. Sandman, you‘re old news here. You haven‘t even gone up against any of the new up and coming superstars yet. When do you plan to step into the ring with an AJ Styles or a Shawn Michaels and go toe to toe with the future? I already plan on destroying Shawn Michaels again and Sting in the near future. I can run with anybody in any wrestling promotion at any given day. My list of accomplishments in the WWF, the WCW, and eHw rivals any superstar to be in any those companies. You call me second best in eHw Sandman, I am THE Best EVERYWHERE! I will go down in the history books as being the single greatest wrestler in history. Lou Thesz, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, sit down and watch a match with those so called greats and then sit down and watch a Bret Hart match and it‘s no question. I‘ve gone over more hurdles than any other wrestler has needed to endure as well. Being screwed out of two World Championships, my brother was killed by the company owned by the man I hate more than anybody Vince McMahon, I suffered a broken sternum, a multiple concussions, the list goes on and on. I have the greatest wrestling match of all time unquestioned at Wrestlemania 12. You Sandman, you‘re just a real big fish in this small pond of eHw. And I will be the one to take this small pond, and turn it into an ocean full of big sharks.”

Bret Hart: “There is still just one more thing you have over me Sandman. Our epic encounter at eXreme PAIN 2001. You got the better end of me that night and took my fourth Title reign away from me. You finally got your revenge that night for Cyberslam. Since that day Sandman, I’ve waited very patiently for another title shot for the Title and another chance to face you. In that match, with myself losing the fans truly believed you were the better man. And night after night, I sat back and I promised myself I would get you back into that ring and beat you again. Soon the nights turned into months, and the months turned into years. Never did I get my chance to erase that night Sandman. And before you know it, eHw was closed and I was out of luck. You see that’s why I went through the trouble of pulling my financial assets together to create eHw Desire Studios. That’s why I called Paul Heyman and told him the world needs eHw again. I’ve trained since that day and everyday, I’ve fought and pushed myself to come back to eHw and be better than I’ve ever been. Then, I would finally get us in the ring, put the World Title on the line and fight as men. Once I beat you Sandman, once I lock on the Sharpshooter and I hear your hand slapping the mat, that’ll be the moment I’ve seen in my dreams for the past three years. That’ll be the ultimate moment where everything that has torn into me, everything that has erased my unbelievable legacy will finally go away. The argument between me and you and who really is the greatest will finally be resolved. I will reach my final destination and fulfill my destiny here in eHw! No more BS, no more “Well the Sandman beat Hart at eXtreme PAIN,” there will be only one. At Born To Be Wired 3, just like that video package just showed, I will finally reach my destiny. Prepare to be Excellently Executed Sandman, for the last time.”

Bret drops the mic and slowly walks to the back. Bret stops halfway up the ramp and takes a long look at the ring. Bret flashes a large smile on his face and finally makes his way to the back. JR and Gertner come back on to dissect the Bret’s words and make one final push for BTBW3.

Jim Ross: “Bret said, he is ready to take out the Sandman. He is ready to take his place and fulfill as he said, his destiny. Will it be his time at Born To Be Wired 3?”

Joel Gertner: “It‘s gotta be Ross. Did you hear the Hitman? He has waited since eXtreme PAIN 2001 to get another shot at the Sandman. He has trained since that day to beat the Sandman and I would be hard pressed to think that Hart would come up short with such a dedication.”

Jim Ross: “Anything can happen either way, folks you saw the card, you know what‘s at stake, Born To Be Wired 3 is mere hours away don‘t you dare miss it. We will see you all there live!”

Ross’s final words end right as eHw Hardcore Tv goes off the air.
