House, a fine listed Georgian house by John Wood the Elder in 1750, lies in the
heart of the beautiful, conservation village of Bathford three miles from
Bath. The house and 1 1/2 acres of garden are set on the edge of an area of
outstanding natural beauty and enjoy far reaching views. |

There are six bedrooms, including some large family
rooms, all with their own private facilities. Each room overlooks garden or
countryside and is equipped with colour television, direct-dial telephone,
tea/coffee making facilities and hair-dryers. Cots and extra beds can be
provided upon request. There is a spacious drawing room, dining room and a
second smaller sitting room. The drawing room can be made available to
guests for meetings upon request. There are open fires in winter, and in the
summer there's a grass tennis court. |

Walled Garden Cottage
We have a cottage set in the old walled garden adjacent to Eagle House.
There are two bedrooms (each with a private bathroom and equipped to the
same specifications as those in the main house), a sitting room and a
kitchen. Rooms are at the same price as Eagle House and the accommodation is
available for two night stays or longer. The kitchen is supplied with the
necessary provisions for breakfast and this is included in the tariff.
Should guests wish to breakfast in the main house, this can be arranged
subject to space being available. Under certain circumstances it is possible
to book only one bedroom with the sitting room and kitchen.
