The flag with The Star of
Kutles (gr.Vergina) 1991-1995 [Ratio 1:2]
|
This
flag, based on a symbol found in the tomb of
Philip of Macedonia (father of Alexander of
Macedonia-"The Great") in the
macedonian city of Kutle(since 1913
division of Macedonia is under Greek
occupation) was changed after the Greek
government objected for its use by the Macedonians,
claiming it to be a wholly Greek symbol,.
However this was proven not to be true. |
