Dear Miss Visocan:
I am writing to you on behalf of my constituent Damon Carroll, who
has enlisted my assistance. Mr. Carroll has an interest in the Visa
application of Ms. Mohaddeseh Nosratighods (DOB:08/24/1977). Ms. Nosratighods
has an appointment to apply for nonimmigrant visa on July 12, 2003.
Ms. Nosratighods (Passport#: 4906495) has been accepted into the
doctoral program at Clemson University and is scheduled to begin her
classes on August 4, 2003. It is my understanding that she is eager
to study in the United States and is well qualified for the program
at Clemson. Ms. Nosratighods is prepared to demonstrate her social,
economic and family ties to Iran to the consular officer. She has
worked very hard for the opportunity to study at Clemson, which is
evident from her academic records and references, and she hopes to
provide the consular officer with the information that the officer
would need to approve her application.
From the information that I have received, Ms. Nosratighods appears
to have compelling ties to her country and intends to pursue this
opportunity to study in the United States at Clemson and then plans
to return to Iran. Accordingly, I would like to take this opportunity
to express my interest on behalf of Mr. Carroll and to request that
Ms. Nosratighods' nonimmigrant visa application be given all appropriate
consideration.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this regard. If additional
information is needed, please contact my aide Heather Henry at 717-393-0667.
Cordially.
