Sensuously seasoned lamb, chicken, sausage and fresh fish. Served with couscous, hummus, and traditional vegetables and salads. This is a place where couscous is not just a trend.
The Kharuf Muhamar ($15), a slow-cooked roasted leg of lamb is succulent and tender and just fatty enough to have a decadent richness. Service is earnest, but varies.
The cozy lounge at the front is warm despite the storefront location, but has recorded music which can compete with the live music from the main room when the sets are on. If that is a problem, get thee to the main room.
