My name is Tanja Kovac and I come from Ljubljana, Slovenia. I'm 22 years old and I'm a MASSIVE Michael Jackson fan for 16 years already! Michael means the whole world to me and without him I would NOT be here today. He gives me so much inspiration, energy, love and happiness every day and because of that I am a very happy, hyper active girl. I enjoy his awesome music, I go crazy watching his videos and most of all I love traveling to see him live around Europe! I live for the moments to see him again! I never thought it would be possible for me to meet this beautiful man, but I am so glad to say that I was wrong! My dreams and wishes came true last year 2002, when I got the chance to meet him 6 times! I could not believe my luck and to tell you the truth I am still in shock about it all. I always knew Michael was gorgeous, but to see him standing next to me face to face made me realise that he is simply PERFECT! It's kind of impossible for me to talk about his beauty because I won't give him justice by just saying »he is gorgeous and stunning«. You have to meet him to really see how divine he is! All I can say is - he takes your breath away!
Meeting Michael Jackson changed my life in so many ways and it got me to face up with reality much more. All my MJ experiences made me see how hard it is to be so famous and have paparazzi always following you and trying to make you look bad. Everywhere I went to see Michael there were always millions of cameras around his hotels. Press comes with these huge zoom in cameras and they just wait there to make another scandal. I have seen how they do a huge scandal from nothing, really! In Berlin all the fans waited there to see him in his hotel and we all screamed to see his babies. Michael was so kind to show us his baby »Blanket« and the press just made an advantage of that and made a caos all around the world! It was shocking for me to come home and see what they made of it! He did nothing wrong, all he did was to show us his son, but press made it look bad and turned it all against him one more time. There are so many injustices in Michael's life, it's so amazing whatta strong person he is to handle all of it. That's just one of the many reasons why I am so fascinated by Michael. I learn from him, I see how he handles his things and that gives me inspiration to do more in my own life.
Like Michael I also have to face up with many problems in my life and I try to solve them the best way I can. I experienced lots of injustices myself, so I know how bad it all feels. The one thing I enjoyed much when I was younger was to write letters to people from all over the world. I always had great MJ friends and I adored writing them letters. Then one day came when I got to meet many of them and that was really horrible, as they all let me down. I saw they are not the same as they were in letters, all of the sudden they were not these great friends of mine, but just backstabbers who wanted to use me for some reason. It was so hard for me to see that I got no real friends and I still feel sad about this. That really shocked me and made me much stronger! Now noone can hurt me no more. I learnt from my experiences not to trust people anymore. From now on I will be more careful how I pick up my friends and I will always have it in the back of my mind that one day they can go out of my life.
Besides having bad experiences with my friends I also had good moments with some of them. I will always remember those great moments we had and treasure them no matter what! Some things are just too special to let them go of your heart. That's something that I love in life, even though bad things come to you, there is never so bad that you couldn't handle it. As people say »When Lord closes the doors he opens the window«. There is always some light in our lifes and we see hope and we start reaching for our happiness and success.

That's how life should be about. We should value it much more and see it all from the fun point of view. We should not be moody, angry, sad and agressive, but we should rather value life and live it the best way we can. We should be thankful for the things we have and not be sad for the things we can't get.
We should be grateful for the little things that we got in our lifes now, like food and shelter and not be obsessed with material things. The best things in life are free, thats a known fact and we should remind ourselves of that more often. There are many poor people in this world, it made me sad to see them in my journeys around the world. I saw people on the streets, with no food or shelter, people with children even, having no place to go. I go inside the souls of those people, and I see how cold and sad it can be there. There is no hope, there is no light and that's all because in some point of our lifes we just forget how to care for each other. If we would care more and help each other we would not have homeless people!!! I don't know what our politicians do every day, but if I had such an important job, I would surely not sit in my office counting money and do nothing for the people that really need help! That's something that Michael Jackson is trying to change. He is doing it all by himself. He was tired to wait for a change in this world and just got out and started doing good things for others. The press makes him look bad all the time as they are jealous that the man has so many talents. Not only that he can compose incredible music, dance like someone we have never seen before, look so gorgeous and have so many loving fans around the globe, but he also knows what's important in this life and knows that people need help! He is aware of the problems and he is solving them piece by piece. This is our chance to join him and help him heal the world. He has been asking us for so many years now, and lots of us joined him ages ago, without even thinking about it, but some people still stay behind and don't see what he is trying to do. That's something that makes me very angry and upset!
Hopefully one day people will realise that he is a good man, that he has a heart of an Angel and then he will be appreciated the way he should be now. I just hope it won't be too late for our world.
As you see Michael has a great impact on my life. He is with me everywhere I go and that makes me a better person. I look at the world with his eyes and I see what needs to be done. I am a very romantic person and what matters to me most in my life is great true love for my closest loved ones. I think love is all we need, it's like oxygen. The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
What I love most of all is going to the cinema, especially here in Ljubljana as we have such an awesome one. It's called Kolosej and it is a massive complex of entertainment! Movies take me to another world, its a great escapism for me. Each time I am sad or lonely I just go to the cinema and the movies guide my life back on track. It's what I love to do most, really.
I also love to spend time in my room and xscape in my MJ world. I love to put lots of pictures and posters of Michael on my wall, I could not live in a place with blank walls. Michael gives my room some life and that's how I always feel happy and excited when I enter my room. I enjoy making letters for Michael; recently I wrote quite many of them and sent it all to his home Neverland. I hope one day he will read my letter and if I'm extremely lucky he will reply it as well. I gave him a letter in Exeter 2002 in his hands and later on I found the photo that shows Michael with my letter. He is smiling and looking very happy, so I guess he liked the front baby cover! Hee hee. The letter was opened, so you can see how Michael is taking the papers out of the envelope! It's really awesome to see such a photo, it brings back so many memories!
Talking about seeing Michael live reminded me to share my experiences with you all. Here I will post links to my reports from London, Exeter and Berlin. I hope you will like reading it and go into the experiences and see it as I did. All the meetings with Michael were truly amazing and they will always stay in a special place of my heart.
Michael if you are ever reading this, THANK YOU for making my life so much better, I live for the time to see you again and I pray you will come to Europe soon! I miss you and love you most!
London, Exeter and Berlin 2002 were not the only times I have seen Michael live. My first MJ experience happened on 10th September 1996 when I went to History concert in Budapest, Hungary!
Now I don't even have to say how extra special that was for me! I was quite close to the stage and I have seen Michael singing and dancing LIVE for more than two hours! OMG! I have also seen Michael in june 1999 in Munich. That still remains my best party time ever! There was a concert »What More Can I Give« where I have seen Michael from so close! I also stayed outside his hotel for 4 days and nights to see him on the window of his Bayerischer Hof hotel. I wish I had written a report about it back then so I could post it all here. My memories of those days are so live as it would all happen yesterday, so my head and my heart will always have all in memory!
So what else do you want to know about me? I am a kind and respectful person to all the people who are nice to me as well. I don't drink, smoke or take drugs 'cause I despise all them things. I believe there are lots of ways to have a good time in life and you surely don't need them things to waste your body and soul. I love having water baloon fights and my next big dream is to visit Neverland and have a great water baloon fight with Michael himself! I am sure I can beat him in this game. HA HA!!! I also enjoy going for a walk with my mother and my doggy Blacky! That's something that brings me joy as well. I really love my animals very much. We got many of them here at home and they are the most sweet ever! I got two cats (Taja and Rika) and a poodle Blacky! They bring joy to my life all the time, especially my sweet Blacky since we spend most time together! Blacky loves his long walks and his favourite person in the whole world is my mother!
