About My Trip

So far I have just once stepped out of Iran. But it was a rather long journey. It began 6/March/2001 and took around 3 weeks. I and my wife went by Gulf Air via Bahrain via Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur , capital of Malaysia. We stayed there for about 2 weeks with Afshari family, our relatives, by virtue of their hospitality. Meantime we had a two day visit to Singapore by train.
I found KL (Kuala Lumpur) a garden city. I mean it seemed that buildings are constructed among plants and trees , not trees planted beside them. It was interesting that contrary to Tehran, as you approached the city center, the buildings became more modern and the streets more tidy. Of course I saw districts around the town like center of Tehran, but they are far enough that they do not disturb the overall prestige of KL. All the photos I have take in Malaysia show scenes around this town. Photos on this page show the view of KL as I saw from my residence there. You can see twin towers and Menara in day and night.
I found Singapore ,though small, more interesting and with much more attractions. Its overall view is quite like KL : a tidy and neat garden city.
