Racing background: Stumpy did his first track day in August 2002 and loved it! He signed up for SuperDave Rosno's Visionsports Racing School in April 2003, got his license and raced at 7 of the 14 CCS midwest events in 2003. After finishing 21st of over 280 amateur riders, CCS bumped him to the expert class for 2004. Stumpy gave it his all in his first expert year in 2004 and won the #1 plate in the CCS Great Plains and Midwest regions as well as the Blackhawk Farms Track Championship. In 2005, Stumpy competed in his first AMA national in the Supersport class at Road America.
Stumpy is now racing bicycles: road and mountain. He's currently competing at the USAC Cat 4 level and has racked up some wins along the way.
