With the great job the reunion commmitte did in locating people, the Southwinds was a nice location but proved to be a tad small for our needs.
Well, now that we have the 30th reunion out of the way, we were wondering where we can have the (35th) reunion gathering.
With many of us now in a position to 'get away', especially if given a couple of years notice.
some ideas are, but not limited to:
  1. A weekend BBQ at a local park?
  2. A Disney reunion?
  3. a weekend (3day 2nite) cruise on a ship?
(you ain't had fun, til you took a cruise)
  4. Maybe take over an out of season Jersey resort hotel for the weekend
(Friday nite, Saturday and leave sometime Sunday afternoon).
Keep in mind that many of us will be staying in paid accomadations, so the idea of a resort type hotel with room to move around makes sense.
I don't think a couple hours is enough time to talk with so many people.
Just my thoughts.......
What are yours?

Please leave your thoughts in the forum and please also vote in our poll.
It appears that taking over a local Jersey resort is in the lead for a place to have our next offical reunion, in 2nd place is Vinettes house.Last but not least, is a BBQ at a local park for 2 days over a weekend.

Please feel free to submit articles or photos to be posted on the site. Just clarify whether it is 30th reunion related or not 30th reunion related.
Some of you commented how the site looks nice, but without your submissions this site will have no content.
thanks

TRHSNorth Mentoring Program

Our concept for a mentoring program is to create a database that will be located in the guidance office at TRN that would include mentor participants and their contact info, so that kids looking for input about particular fields could contact alumni with experience in those fields. Once established with our own alumni, we could reach out to other graduating classes to see who else would like to participate.

Meantime we could also publish this info online so that any of our own kids can take advantage of the service.

What we are thinking is to reach out to our classmates with an online form they can fill out to participate in the mentoring program, which we can combine with our questionnaire for the memory book. No need to do this twice.

George will be checking out potential formats for a database and I will be contacting John Garrabrant for some input in working with the school. Once we have some options we can have a meeting to format the program and figure out how this will all interrelate.

In the meantime, we should start updating contact information again. Some emails have changed and we have heard from other classmates since the reunion, so we can start compiling a revised contact list.
Anyone up for coordinating this?

Where were you? You missed a great time with old friends!

Can you name the participants in this photo? It was one of Frank Carmens weekend field trips. If memory serves me correctly we were on some kind of recycling program.
