Feedback:  Love it!

Author’s Notes: This one’s for Cat, cause I FINALLY got around to writing her challenge (the line was: 'he’d never laughed so much…there were strawberries in his underwear drawer') and what the hell are you supposed to do with that?! *shoots look at Cat* Well, this is what I did……

The soft sound of the television filtered into the kitchen where Viggo was working.

‘….he’d never laughed so much…there were strawberries in his underwear drawer….’

Shaking his head with a smile, Viggo got to his feet, grabbing the towel he had set on the counter and wiping his hands off, he headed to the living room.

Hugo was lying on the couch, surrounded by boxes of Kleenex and several half filled glasses of juice. Viggo smiled fondly at him, ‘you still all stuffed up?’

Hugo sniffed pitifully, ‘yup.’

‘What are you watching?’ Viggo asked, glancing curiously at the flickering screen.

‘I have no idea, I can’t change the channel either, cause the remote fell onto the floor,’ Hugo said, gesturing to the remote which was lying half under the coffee table.

Viggo laughed, dropping down and grabbing the remote. He handed it back to Hugo.

‘You really are pathetic when you’re sick, you know that?’ Viggo asked laughingly, affectionately smoothing Hugo’s hair back.

‘I know,’ Hugo said with a soft smile and a loud sniffle. Viggo passed him a Kleenex.

‘Thanks.’

‘If you’re so bored you’re watching this, why don’t you try reading for awhile?’ Viggo suggested.

‘Reading makes my head go funny right now. Guess I’m stuck watching stuff like this until I feel better,’ Hugo said with another sad little sniffle.

‘Give me a minute,’ Viggo said, leaving the room before Hugo could ask what the minute was for.

Viggo clattered about in the kitchen, quickly cleaning up the mess he had left. When he was done, he came back into the living room and settled down onto the couch with Hugo.

‘Tell you what,’ he said, ‘as long as you’re stuck here, I’ll stay with you.’

Hugo just looked at Viggo for a moment before he faked a weak cough, ‘You know, I think it’s getting a little worse, we may have to stay here for awhile….’

Viggo just laughed and pulled Hugo closer.

The End.
