Third Eye Blind are from Sandiago and formed back in 1993. They have three videos out:Semi-Charmed Life directed by Jamie Morgan, How's it Going to Be directed by Nigel Dick and last but not least Losing a Whole Year directed by Francis Lawrence.

How they got the name

"We get asked about the name all the time," laughs Stephan. "It's not a mission statement or anything like that. I always have liked names with wit and irony. I was a big fan of Camper Van Beethoven. The name also reflects a certain sense of magic and dreams - we thought that was very lacking in music when we started - music for a blind time, if you will. It also takes the piss out of that phony spiritual thing. Third Eye Blind has always been about real things.

Some awards that Third Eye Blind have won are:

Outstanding song writer, Outstanding album, outstanding debut album, 1998 Bammies and Billboard music awards for Modern rock track of the year for Semi-Charmed life( When they came on t.v 3eb preformed semi-charmed life and made this cool whipped cream thing dedicated to free-expression, way to go boys !~!)
