The
snowflakes flew softly in the air
all
through the silent night.
I
saw you standing amidst the flakes
in
a strip of starlight.
Your
head was tilted carelessly back,
you
were without a care
While
tiny white sparkling snowflakes
vanished
in your hair.
But,
only when the moonlight beams
began
to fade out thin,
And
only when the twinkling stars
became
as a silver pin
And
stole past my pillowed bed and
into
my closed eye seams,
Did
I then realize you were only a
vision
of my dreams.
