At the Capuletsare preparing for a masked ball to celebrate the up coming marriage of their 14 year old daughter Juilet to Count Paris. In the delight of mischief, Romeo Montagues crashes the Capulet Party with is best friend Mercutio. When he sees Juilet he become desertly in love with her, and when Juilet sees him she falls back in love with him. The two express their love in the play's famous balcony scene. Even though their parents know that they have ever met, they plan to get married.
The next morning the priest weds them. The priest hopes that their marriage will end the hate between the two families.After the wedding Juilet returns home.
Meanwhile Juilet's cousin (Tybalt) has started a fight in the streets with Mercutio. He looks at Romeo as he leaves from the church. Mercutio rushes to Romeo's defense, then the fight begins! Horrified, Romeo tries to break them up but Tybalt stab Mercutio with his sword, and killed him. Blind by fury Romeo is blinded by fury (he is not really blind it is just an expression)Romeo duels with Tybalt and kills Tybalt. The Prince of Verona banishes Romeo for the death of Tybalt. He only has one night to spend with his bride.
The next morning, Juilet's father insists that she marry Count Paris. Frantic Juilet begs the priest for help. He gives her a potion that will cause her to fall in a death like sleep. Later, when she awakens in the Capulet vault, he plans to spirt her away to Romeo.
Romeo fails to receive the messages the priest has sent to him about Juilet. Believing that Juilet is really dead he buys a very strong poison and makes his way to the tomb. There he takes his final farwells to his bride and drinks the poison.
Waking from her coma she sees Romeo dead see takes Romeo's dagger and kills herself. The death of the lovers brings the Capulets and the Montagues to thier senses.
