First off I would like to make several statements about this. One Spam is illegal, and that is what you have done with this letter, Spam is classified as sending unsolicited mail to 5 or more people at one time.
Next advertising is a part of life, it is how the pages are free to us, if you do not want advertising on your page you can pay for geo-plus and you don't have it.
Secondly Geocities, is currently developing and hoping to soon launch a new pop-up that will load in the background so that it will only appear while you are changing pages, and the next page is loading.
Thirdly if you are receiving more than one pop-up per page view then you have done a download of the oppose via the save as on your browser instead of ftping the page down thus including the hard coding that is added to the page to include the po-up, you may need to look at your coding to remove it from the file.
Please before starting on a campaign you need to make sure that you have all the facts straight and take into consideration many things are happening to improve the situation, that are not ready for public announcement. It is something geo has been working on improving but like all technical things it takes time.
