McKinley 35, Leilhua 21: At Aloha Staduim, the Tigers opened up big with their second play of their openning drive with a 79 yard touch down bomb from Garcia to Rene Melson. Also in the first quarter, Garcia connected with Melson once again on another bomb for a touchdown that went for 84 yards. Then in the second quarter, Garcia connected with Melson once again on a fade pattern that went 7 yards for the score. At the half the Tigers led 21-0. The Mules came back in the 3rd to tie the game up at 21. In the 4th, Kenny Momstella caught a 15 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Darin Garcia as the Tigers held off the Mules in an OIA Red Conference game. The touchdown pass in the fourth quarter helped give the Tigers a 28-21 lead. Leilehua had rallied from a 21-0 halftime deficit with three touchdowns. The Tigers took a 35-21 lead on a 3 yard touchdown pass from Garcia to Robert Poleki.
