Tigers lose Homecoming
Waianae 26, McKinley 14: At Roosevelt, Lono Manners racked up 169 yards on 18 rushes and scored three touchdowns to lead the Seariders.
Waianae (5-2) scored the first three touchdowns of the game, dominating the Tigers (2-5). McKinley quarterback Abraham Pavich had trouble throwing the long ball, as the Waianae defense picked him off five times. But he did throw for 312 yards, including a 38-yard TD pass to Augustine Nepo. Rene Melson caught 13 passes for 157 yards. Late in the 2nd QT. The Tigers scored quick on a pass from Pavich to Nepo.
