1. I see you proud, and sophisticated, 
And realize I’m a jester and I am jaded.

2. I see you hate, through a subtle manipulation,
But I don’t know your motivation

Then I question why I’m not free, but weary and tense.

4. I see you through your eyes, the windows of your soul,
Your life has left you drained, empty and full of holes.

I wonder how you make it through each day.

Remembering how everything starts
