1st generation
It is a single tag that does not open. On the front of tag it has TY written on it. It has a skinny, bubble type font.
2nd generation
The second generation hang tag looks just like the first generation hang tag, but this one opens like a book with the inside reading: TO:_____and FROM:_____with love.
3rd generation
The third generation hand tag now has the TY written in a more fa balloonish type font with the same writing inside of it.
4th generation
The fourth generation hang tag now has an even fatter TY logo, but with a yellow star with the words "Original Beanie Baby" inside of the star. The inside has now changed. The TO and FROm with love is gone, but hasthe beanie baby's poem.
5th generation
The fifth generation has a Comic Sans font.
