"Clinton and Lewinsky: A parody of Annabel Lee By Edgar Allan Poe"

It was many a many a month ago,
     In the White house in DC,
That a intern there lived whom you may know
     By the name of Monica Lewinsky;-
And Bill Clinton he lived with no other thought
    Than to love and be loved by she.

She was a child, he was not a child,
    In this White house in DC,
But he loved with a love that was more than love-
   It was called adultery-
The love the American people thought was immoral,
    him and she.

And this was the reason that months ago,
    In this White house in DC,
Lawyers came in the courthouse by night
    Pressing charges against he;
So in her apartment she does sit
    All alone in Washington DC-
An unintelligent young woman sits:
    and wastes her life unhappily.

Bill's lifestyle lived has always been,
    a matter of great controversy;
Bill smoked pot when he went over the seas,
    "But I inhaled not, " said he-
It is plain for all to see, he would choose
     a big Mac before Hillary.

But his oath to Hillary was shattered by he,
     Bill made an oath to this country-
     How do we know we can trust he?
The silken tongue that makes oaths so easily
    Should be cut off from our society:-
Does he truly protect and defend and preserve
     to the best of his ability?

The TV never dims without hearing the sins
     Of Bill Clinton and Lewinsky;
Papers never unfold without the story told
     Of Bill Clinton and Lewinsky;
And so, the trust of us, is now considered dust
By Bill Clinton, yes Clinton, President and Chief
      Of America, who trusted he,
      Of I, who believed in he.
