The Cast

Heath Ledger (Conor): Though Heath Ledger is a newcomer to American audiences, his list of credits in Australia, his native country, is anything but small. His stage appearances include "The Name of the Father","Hamlet", "The Boyfriend", "Royal Hunt of the Sun", "Bugsy Malone", and the title role in "Peter Pan". He has also starred in the drama television series "Ship to Shore", "Sweat", and "Bush Patrol", and the situation comedy "Corrigan". His feature films, also Australian, include "Black Rock" and "Paws". He currently lives in Australia, where ROAR is filmed.

John Saint Ryan (Fergus): John Saint Ryan has a long list of television credits, not the least of which are roles in the critically-acclaimed series "Babylon 5", "EZ Streets", and "Murder, She Wrote". He has also appeared in "M.A.N.T.I.S.", "seaQuest DSV", "General Hospital", "The Burning Zone", and the cable film "The Heidi Chronicles". Not to limit himself to television, however, he has also appeared in the features "Delta Force III", "Cover Up", "CIA II: Target Alexa", "American Cyborg", and "Cover Up". His stage credits include "Streetcar Named Desire", "Corialanus", "South Pacific", and "Look Back Anger". He currently lives in Los Angeles.

Vera Farmiga (Catlin): Farmiga appeared in the independent film "Stalker", and the Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation "Rose Hill". Her stage work includes "Taking Sides", "Second Hand Smoke", "Good", "The Tempest", "Hamlet", "The Seagull", "Two Gentlemen of Verona", and "The Glass Menagerie". She currently lives in New York.

Alonzo Greer (Tully): In his television series debut on ROAR, Greer has appeared in the independent film "The Mission", and several national commercials. His theater credits include "Before Sunrise", "Of Mice and Men", "Seven", and "Love Boat on Fantasy Island".

Sebastian Roche (Longinus): To be seen in the upcoming features "Elements" and "The Peacemaker", Roche was also in "Last of the Mohicans", "The Chess Player", "A Woman's Revenge", "Farewell", "I Love You", "Loungers", and "Household Saints". He has had guest-starring roles on "New York Undercover", "Law & Order", "Feds", and "Swift Justice". He also appeared in "Counterstrike", "The Hitchhiker", and PBS's "Liberty". His theater credits include "The Homecoming", "Arms and the Man", "Titus Andronicus", "MacBeth", "The Green Bird", and "Salome". Sebastian Roche currently resides in New York.; 4-30-98 UPDATE: Sebastian Roche can be seen performing in the new movie "Merlin" starring Sam Neil. He plays Gawain. You'll recognize him right away. I was quite shocked when I saw him! But it's a pleasant surprise to see some of the actors from ROAR in new, exciting shows like Merlin. Maybe we'll see Heath Ledger in something soon!

Lisa Zane (Queen Diana): Lisa Zane is most recognized for her recent role in the FOX series "Profit". She also had a recurring role (as Diane Leeds) in the NBC series "ER". Additional television works include "Diagnosis Murder", "L.A. Law", and the cable telefilm "That's What Friends Are For." She has been in the feature films "Freddy's Dead: The Nightmare Ends", "Femme Fatale", "Gross Anatomy", "Bad Influence", and "Unveiled". Her theater credits include "Prelude to a Kiss", "Cherry Orchard", and "Tamara." She currently lives in Los Angeles.
