Flag Burning
It seems that our web page burning of American Flags have raised a lot of
questions, concerns, and accusations lately so I thought that I would post this notice
to set the record straight and to educate people about the reasoning behind such a
seemingly radical action.
We of Closet Monster burn our American flags in protest to everything that: (A) a
flag stands for in general (and B) America has done to corrupt this vulnerable world
of ours. We do not hate American civilian’s whatsoever and we do not posses
Canadian pride or hold ourselves to be better then America at all. We see ourselves
as human beings and wish that everyone could focus on their own humanity rather
then their nationality. If the world would work together as one it would be a better
place for all, but flags just segregate and alienate people from each other making
things worse. Our motives lie nowhere near hate, discrimination, nationalism, or
patriotism but only upon humanitarianism and unity. A flag is a contradiction to
unity. And America is a contradiction to humane. If you have further questions or
would just like to discuss the matter further we would be more then happy to
respond to EMAILS but please stop cluttering our guestbook with such matters.
We have dedicated countless hours to the study of nationalism, Americanism, and
flag burning and would love to share our knowledge with those interested. The
accusations that we have placed upon flags, countries, America, Capitalism, etc. are
quite sensible if they can actually be considered with an open mind. Please do so.
