Underground Monkey Operations (formerly U.M.O. Records/Promotions) is a collectively run organization created to serve as a label, production company, distributor and a variety of other opperations. Very similar to thousands of other independent records labels around the globe Underground Monkey Operations has a huge lack of funding (In other words they are very poor). Their lack of money allows them to accomplish things at a very slow pace but their accomplishments have been always been consistant. These include putting on countless shows in the Ajax-Oshawa area, releasing Cd's and tapes,as well as compilations, and hopefully liturature and other special goodies.
