Hi! We're the Board Members of the CSUN Theatre Guild! We're hard at work finding fun and useful links that'll take you not only to great theatre stuff, but to other cool stuff as well.
First, introductions...
JAY AFRICA is a graduating senior in the CSUN Department of Theatre. He has participated on- and offstage in various Department and Guild productions as actor, director, producer, electrician, costumer, and carpenter. Jay is back in the Los Angeles area after a three month stay in Massachusetts to work at Shakespeare & Company. Some of his favorite performances include: "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Puck), "This Is Not A Pipe Dream" (The Interlocutor), "Cabaret" (Ensemble), "Tintypes" (Ensemble), "All In The Timing" (Bill/Mark/Swift) and "Two Mirrors" (Little Wolf/Jumping Mouse). His next appearances on stage will be in Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" (2nd Lord/1st British Captain) and Andrew Lloyd-Webber's "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Benjamin/Butler). Jay bears the honor of being the only blond (or at least blond-ish) Filipino in the entire CSUN Department of Theatre.
ANNA BAARDSEN is a junior in the CSUN Department of Theatre. She is primarily an actress, but is currently exploring the areas of costuming and set painting. Anna is back in L.A. fresh from a two week trip to Utah, where she constructed costumes for "The King & I" and "Once Upon A Matress." She has been seen onstage in the CSUN Theatre Department production of "Brothers Grimm, Sisters Wilde" (Katarina), as well as CSUNTG production of "All In The Timing" (Woman #2). Her next appearance on stage will also be in "Cymbeline" (Cornelia).

She is an avid explorer of the theatrical field and has performed various onstage and offstage duties for both the Guild and Department. Her performance credits include "As You Like It" (Rosalyn), "All In The Timing" (Betty), "Shelter" (Jessie) and "Tintypes" (Ensemble). Her next project will also be performing in "Cymbeline" (Helen/Posthumus' Mother), as well as assistant directing it.
