Our Float is straight out of the 50's, with a "Sock Hop of Harmony" theme. The kids are doing the Hand Jive to the lively music from the movie "Grease," played from a good old-fashioned juke box. This talented group of children are from all over the high desert and local mountain communities. Our float illustrates how people with Down Syndrome are able to be an upbeat and harmonious part of their community.
