On a tiny country in the South Pacific there exists a practical wealth of
undiscovered (to us Americans, anyway) talented alternative artists. During
a trip to New Zealand, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to "kiwirock"
, and I found that Kiwis have pretty good taste in music! Granted, it took a
while for NZ rock/pop to grow on me; at first I found it a bit grating and
too jingly-jangly (as some of my friends will tell you - they having had to
put up with my negative comments for months on end), but now I'm quite into
