Right, here's a rundown on a couple of my fave artists...

Fiona Apple

I thought that I was never gonna touch the piano again, but after listening to her, I just propped myself onto the piano seat and started playing again. A great songwriter. Meloncholic and pretty pessimistic. Listening to her when you're upset probably would make you wanna stab yourself. Tidal's a fantastic album. It sounds kinda 'lounge-y' coz of the piano, along with her deep solemn voice.

"Though dreams can be deceiving
Like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving
When fantasy and reality lie too far apart"

Mansun

Not to be mistaken for Manson (urgh). This brit band generates a different kind of music altogether. Alternative, some may call it, but Mansun uses electronic distortion of sorts to create a more refreshing touch to their brand of music. I still prefer the previous CD, Attack of the Grey Lantern to the current one, really.

"Am I a God am I Jesus
Am I a man or am I a boy
Do I feel love or just possession
Do I feel holy or nothing at all
You can't deny that your shit just tastes as sweet as mine"

3rd Eye BlinD

Hokay, one of my current favourite bands. Jumper's really good. Great catchy tunes along with bouncy words. Great CD. Buy it for more than just the songs released as singles. Line up: Stephan Jenkins (vocals) Arion Salazar (bassist) Brad Hargreaves (Drummer)Kevin Cadogan (guitarist)

"I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend,
You could cut ties with all the lies that you've been living in,
And if you do not want to see me again,
I would understand"
