Ezra Li

Ezra Li was born in 1964 in the Black Mountains of North Carolina.  His father was a Chinese mystic and martial arts legend, Wong Li, and he was trained in the mystic art of Taoist Calligraphy and other mystic sciences at a very young age.  His mother was a renegade circus clown turned Kabbalistic theologian, a reader of Tarot and tea leaves with the traveling sideshow.

Ezra grew up admist the din of the gypsy caravans and circus freaks, his earliest friends were magicians and mutants, those on the fringes of contemporary society.  He grew to love the strange and the unusual, to trust in the power of the spirit and the messages of the stars. 

Legend has it that Ezra Li was born with a brush in his hand and upon exiting the womb, he immediately began to paint elaborate magical talismans upon the walls of the delivery room. All this while chanting OM MANI PADME HUM.  To this day, he continues to bless the world with his gifted alchemical images and insights into the contemporary social phenomenon.
