I'll use Tom, Dick and Harry as my example names. Tom will start the game.
Tom: Hey Dick, wanna buy a duck?
Now Dick has to say the following:
Dick: (to Tom) A what?
Tom has to answer back:
Tom: A duck!
Dick asks:
Dick: Does it quack?
Tom answers:
Tom: Of course it quacks, it's a duck!
Now here is where it gets VERY complicated. Don't get the names messed up and you should see the pattern. After Tom finished answering Dick's questions (which remain the same for each player) it's Dick's turn to ask someone.
Dick: Hey Harry, wanna buy a duck?
Harry says:
A what?
Dick says:
A what?
Tom:
A duck!
This is what is sounds like when you're playing the game on your own... for best effect, use plenty of expression and a dazed-out look on your face.
Wanna buy a duck? A what? A duck! Does it quack? Of course it quacks, it's a duck! Wanna buy a duck? A What? A what? A duck! A duck! Does it quack? Does it quack? Of course it quacks it's a duck! Of course it quacks it's a duck! Wanna buy a duck? A what? A what? A what? A duck! A duck! A duck! Does it quack? Does it quack? Does it quack? Of course it quacks it's a duck! Of course it quacks it's a duck! Of course it quacks it's a duck!
Ok you get the point of how the game goes now... now go drive someone insane ;)
